Purpose of the ValuePicksHub application
The purpose of ValuePicksHub is to be an internal operations application connected to Google:
- Google sign-in (OAuth): authorized operators authenticate with their Google account so ValuePicksHub can act on their behalf only for Google Ads accounts they are allowed to manage.
- Google Ads API (internal): after sign-in, ValuePicksHub uses the Google Ads API to create, update, pause, and report on Search campaigns, ads, keywords, budgets, and bids for accounts we own or control. This API usage is for our own team and owned accounts only.
- Not a public API product: external customers cannot sign up, connect third-party Google Ads accounts, or use ValuePicksHub as a multi-tenant agency tool. There is no self-serve product for outside users to authorize their ads accounts through this app.
Separately, the public website at https://valuepickshub.com/ publishes product research and recommendations for readers. That public site does not require Google sign-in. The OAuth client and Google Ads API access belong to this application homepage: https://valuepickshub.com/app.
Who can use ValuePicksHub
- Only authorized ValuePicksHub operators (internal team).
- Google sign-in is required only for those operators.
- Readers of the public site never need to grant Google OAuth access to use published content.
How ValuePicksHub uses Google user data
When an authorized operator signs in with Google, the ValuePicksHub application may receive access to the Google Ads API for accounts that operator is allowed to manage.
Google user data the application may access:
- Google account identity needed to complete sign-in for the authorizing operator.
- Google Ads account, campaign, ad group, ad, keyword, budget, bid, and performance reporting data for accounts the operator selects and is authorized to access.
How that data is used (internal only):
- to read performance for analysis and risk control on owned accounts;
- to create, update, pause, or manage Search campaigns and related entities on owned accounts;
- to measure advertising that promotes ValuePicksHub content under human-approved spend limits.
How that data is stored and shared:
- Access tokens and operational logs stay limited to ValuePicksHub systems used by authorized operators.
- We do not sell Google user data or use it for unrelated consumer products.
- We do not offer multi-tenant access that lets external customers connect third-party Google Ads accounts as a product.
