1. Who we are

ValuePicksHub ("we", "us") is a web application for independent product research and recommendations, and for internal advertising operations under the ValuePicksHub brand. Official application homepage: https://valuepickshub.com. For any privacy request, use our contact form.

This policy is governed by Brazilian law, in particular the General Data Protection Law (Lei nº 13.709/2018 — "LGPD") and the Brazilian Civil Rights Framework for the Internet (Lei nº 12.965/2014).

2. What data we collect and why

a) Analytics and performance data

We use analytics and product-experience tools to understand how visitors use this site. This may include pages visited, time spent, device/browser type, referral source, approximate geographic location, and — through session-analytics tooling — anonymized recordings of on-page interactions (clicks, scrolls, mouse movement) with personal data masked.

Tools in use:

• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — traffic and usage measurement.
• Google Tag Manager (GTM) — tag and consent management (loads the tools above).
• Microsoft Clarity — heatmaps and masked session recordings to improve usability.

We use this data solely to improve site content and performance. We do not sell it.

b) Contact form submissions

If you contact us, we collect your name, email address, and message to respond to your inquiry only.

c) Cookies

This site uses cookies:

• Strictly necessary — required for basic site functionality.
• Analytics cookies — to measure traffic and usage (see §2a).

Analytics and session-recording tools load only after you accept the corresponding category in our consent banner. You may withdraw consent or manage cookies at any time through the banner or your browser settings.

3. Google user data (OAuth and Google Ads API)

This section discloses how the ValuePicksHub application accesses, uses, stores, and shares Google user data when an authorized operator grants permission through Google OAuth.

a) Access

ValuePicksHub uses Google OAuth so authorized operators can connect Google accounts that manage Google Ads accounts we own or control. Through the Google Ads API, the application may access:

• operator Google account identity information required to complete OAuth;
• Google Ads account structure and settings the operator is authorized to manage;
• campaign, ad group, ad, keyword, budget, bid, and performance reporting data for those accounts.

Public site visitors are not required to sign in with Google to read editorial content.

b) Use

Google user data obtained via OAuth / Google Ads API is used only to:

• read advertising and conversion performance for analysis and risk control;
• create, update, pause, or otherwise manage Search campaigns and related entities on owned accounts under human-approved spend rules;
• operate measurement related to promoting ValuePicksHub recommendations.

c) Storage

OAuth tokens and operational logs are stored only in systems used by authorized ValuePicksHub operators, with access limited to people who need them for those operations. Tokens are retained only as long as needed for ongoing authorization or until revoked.

d) Sharing and limits

• We do not sell Google user data.
• We do not use Google user data for unrelated products, advertising networks resale, or brand impersonation.
• We do not offer a multi-tenant product that lets external customers connect arbitrary third-party Google Ads accounts through ValuePicksHub.
• We may share data with subprocessors that host our infrastructure, or with authorities when required by law.

Use of Google user data is limited to the practices described in this policy and on the ValuePicksHub application homepage.

4. Legal basis (LGPD)

• Analytics, session recordings, and non-essential cookies: your consent (Art. 7, I; Art. 8 LGPD), collected via the consent banner.
• Responding to contact requests: legitimate interest / execution of your request (Art. 7, IX).
• Strictly necessary cookies: legitimate interest in providing a functioning site.
• Google Ads operator authorization and account data: execution of the operational relationship / legitimate interest in managing owned advertising accounts, limited to authorized operators who grant OAuth consent.

5. Affiliate links and third-party sites

When you click an affiliate link, the third-party merchant or affiliate network (e.g., ClickBank) may track you and set its own cookies. We do not control their data practices. Please review their privacy policies independently.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We may share data with our analytics providers (Google, Microsoft) acting as processors under their terms, infrastructure hosts used to run ValuePicksHub, or with authorities when required by law. Google user data obtained via OAuth is additionally limited by §3.

7. Data retention

Contact submissions are retained for up to 12 months. Analytics data follows each provider's default retention period. OAuth tokens are retained only while authorization is needed or until revoked. You may request deletion at any time (see §8).

8. Your rights (LGPD)

Under the LGPD you have the right to: confirm the existence of processing; access your data; correct incomplete or outdated data; anonymize, block, or delete unnecessary data; request portability; obtain information about data sharing; and withdraw consent.

Operators who connected a Google account can also revoke ValuePicksHub access in their Google Account permissions. To exercise any right with us, use our contact form. You may also petition the Brazilian data protection authority (ANPD).

9. Changes

The effective date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of this site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
